Lars Kemper and Peter Olah founded Flowers for Slovakia in 2009. The platform promotes Slovak culture, traditions and techniques abroad by setting up collaboration projects which enable young Slovak talents to use their skills to create contemporary design pieces under the guidance of professional makers and designers. The selected design and creative students experience a professional environment through a series of workshops. The resulting creations then become part of a travelling collection of pieces which are exhibited at international design fairs. The latest collection Pass it On comprises of jewellery which tells the stories of important personalities in Slovakia’s history.
