BeCraft, formerly the World Crafts Council Belgique Francophone (WCC-BF), supports professional Belgian craftspeople based in French-speaking Brussels and Wallonia, particularly those working in contemporary applied arts including ceramics, paper, wood, textiles, glass, jewellery and fashion. Founded in 1980 and renamed BeCraft in 2018, the organisation showcases the work of craftspeople online, in its own exhibition space in Mons, and through three triennials focusing on applied arts, jewellery, and ceramics and glass. It also organises regular conferences, exhibitions, training opportunities and study trips, and participates in international fairs and competitions. It works closely with WCC-Europe, one of five regional branches of the World Crafts Council, a UNESCO-recognised non-governmental organisation set up to promote high-quality applied arts.
