The Belgian association BeCraft , a Cultural Council member of the Michelangelo Foundation, have organised an exhibition to celebrate the Belgian craftspeople who were present at the first edition of Homo Faber: Crafting a more human future in 2018. The exhibition running from July 4 to October 4, spotlights the 12 artists who represented Belgium in Venice. Each offers a unique perspective on the technical mastery of their specific fields related to the applied arts through their eye-catching objects. With an international outlook, BeCraft seeks to highlight the relevance of contemporary European craftsmanship through a collaborative approach, whilst on a local level to emphasise the richness of Belgian artistic talent. The Master’s Touch Evaluation Tool shall feature at the exhibition, giving Belgian artisans an insight into how they may apply to join the Michelangelo Foundation’s community of craftspeople.
Opening times: Tuesday-Sunday : 12 :00-18 :00
