Take part in a unique metal course in Loulé from 11 to 23 July 2021 and discover ancient metal crafts. The course has been developed in partnership with Câmara Municipal de Loulé, Fundação Ricardo do Espírito Santo Silva, and Passa ao Futuro and held at Loulé Criativo. Students will explore the techniques of filigree, casting, metal working, chiselling, hammered copper and tin work alongside master artisans and design mentors. Learning from each other and working collaboratively, participating students will have the chance to revisit these techniques with a new perspective to then create contemporary pieces that can be passed on for generations.
Applications are open from 20 April to 16 May 2021.
