The Michelangelo Foundation is delighted to present Homo Faber and Korea’s presence in its projects at Craft Trend Fair in Seoul from 12 to 15 December. Organised by Korea Craft & Design Foundation, the fair gives visibility to Asian crafts, welcoming a diverse mix of exhibitors, from artisans to international organisations. During the exhibition, visitors can discover Homo Faber’s three signature projects. Two embroidered panels created by Heehwa Jo and one by Maria Dinis Pereira for Homo Faber 2024: The Journey of Life, give an insight into the biennial celebration of contemporary craftsmanship. Three co-created pieces showcase the collaborative results of the first edition of Homo Faber Fellowship and four objects handcrafted by local South Korean artisans spotlight the online community of artisans presented on Homo Faber Guide.
