From his workshop in Cremona, Italy, situated close to Stradivari’s former home, Lucas Fabro handcrafts string instruments respecting traditional techniques. He settled here aged 21 years old when he left his native Buenos Aires to fulfil his dream of becoming a violin maker in the town of Stradivari. Lucas graduated from the Istituto di Istruzione Superiore Antonio Stradivari and was then trained by master violin maker Daniele Scolari. In 2018, he opened his own workshop and has since built up a loyal international clientele. With a contemporary vision, Lucas breathes new life into this ancient craft and shares his skills with people all over the world on his YouTube channel.
