The Michelangelo Foundation sets up home on Pont de la Machine

The Michelangelo Foundation has taken up residence in the newly named “Arcades des Arts” which benefits from a magnificent setting on Pont de la Machine, Geneva. The striking architectural form of this historic water pumping station inspired its rebirth as the “Arcades des Arts”. A multi-functional space, being both the headquarters of the Michelangelo Foundation and the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie, as well as an exhibition site; showcasing horological and artisanal craftsmanship.

This new address represents a contemporary hub for the world of métiers d’art in the heart of Geneva’s historical centre, home to a rich heritage of fine craftsmanship. We are delighted to be housing a selection of works created by master artisans Géraldine Gonzalez , Jérôme Blanc and Philippe Cramer’s Gallery . The space is illuminated by a poetic installation created by Géraldine, which takes the form of jelly fish exquisitely crafted in paper.
