Located in Los Angeles, The American Museum of Ceramic Art (AMOCA) champions the art, history, creation, and technology of ceramics through exhibitions, collections and an immersive studio programme. The museum features rotating exhibitions across four galleries, offering a lot of exhibiting opportunities to contemporary ceramicists and constant variety for visitors. AMOCA runs in-house field trips, MudMobile visits, teenage programmes, college and adult tours, and family events, for all to experience the wonders of clay. The museum regularly hosts in-person and virtual events such as opening receptions, artist talks, and exhibition tours. Their ceramics studio offers classes and workshops, studio rentals, firing services, and an artist-in-residence programme.
