Victor Fotso Nyie is the winner of the competition Artigiano del Cuore (Artisan of the Heart) 2021, organised by the Fondazione Cologni.
This edition was dedicated to emerging artisans who founded their business within the last 3 years. The aim was to support young talents and new craft businesses with a donation of €5.000 collected via a crowdfunding platform.
The young Cameroonian ceramicist, and Faenza citizen by adoption intends to buy a high-temperature kiln and enough raw materials that would allow him to experiment with unprecedented techniques: a large investment after his business had to be closed due to the pandemic. It is now possible to support Victor's project with a free donation on Rete del Dono, choosing the amount and the preferred payment method.
