Created in 2016, Passa Ao Futuro is a non-profit association aiming to preserve, promote and activate the intangible cultural heritage of Portuguese craftsmanship. It does so by creating a database of practicing craftsmen and women in 12 materials, offering a series of residencies and cross-disciplinary collaborations, and engaging initiatives that support the social, economic and environmental sustainability of craftsmanship, utilizing design and systems thinking.
