The MAD is a private not-for-profit organisation in France that develops links between industry and culture, design and production, and provides art education and professional training. Its Museum of Decorative Arts and extensive library collection are housed at the Palais du Louvre in the French capital. It also runs the Musée Nissim de Camondo, an early 20th century private home, and the Ecole Camondo, a school of design and interior architecture. Its Ateliers du Carrousel offer a range of workshops to aspiring artisans, adults and children.
