Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte together with with OMA - Osservatorio dei Mestieri d'Arte e Italia su Misura - to launch the digital initiative #ioscelgomadeinitaly (#Ichoosemadeinitaly). Each week on the social channel of Fondazione Cologni ten Italian master artisans are presented across two posts. The digital campaign celebrates Italian fine craftsmanship through a series of portraits of the selected artisans. The portraits reveal the diverse array of expertise, creative skills and artistry behind different crafts and their enduring connection with Italian heritage. The project highlights the authenticity, beauty and quality of handcrafted pieces. It puts into perspective the notion of Made in Italy and the importance of ensuring these precious human skills are recongnised and ushered safely into the future. With the hope of initiating a more sustainable and human led philosophy towards making and consuming.
