An exhibition dedicated to Japanese National Living Treasures and French Masters of art
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the French title “Master of Art”, objects by nine Masters will be presented for the first time during a series of conferences (7-10 October 2024) and a group exhibition (28 September - 21 October 2024) at the Gallery of Kyoto Traditional Arts & Crafts. This event is part of the Nuit Blanche Kyoto, which commemorates the ties between Paris and Kyoto. The selected French master artisans perpetuate rare know-how passed down from one generation to the next and are keepers of intangible French heritage.
