HEAD Genève was formed in 2006 from the merger of the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts and the Haute Ecole d'Arts Appliqués, both educational institutions with a 200-year-old history. Urban and international, HEAD welcomes over 700 students from 40 different countries and offers bachelor's and master's degree programmes in fine arts, cinema, interior architecture, visual communication, interactive and media design, fashion design and product design, such as jewellery, accessories and watch design. Aesthetic practices based on research and experimentation are combined with access to traditional and innovative technical resources. HEAD encourages collaboration between programmes and an interdisciplinary approach.
