The Aldo Galli Academy of Fine Arts (Accademia di Belle Arti Aldo Galli) joined the network of higher education schools of the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in 2012, offering undergraduate courses in conservation and restoration, fashion design, communication, visual arts and design. Capitalising on its decades of expertise in the field of conservation and restoration, the academy's five-year restoration programme is one-of-a-kind in a continuously and rapidly evolving field. On the same principle and aligned with the production system in the Como area, the fashion programme trains students around three fundamental poles of fashion luxury brand management: creativity, contemporaneity and storytelling. Some 300 students are enrolled at the academy.
