The World Crafts Council Europe is inviting members of the craft community to pledge their support for the Crafting Europe Manifesto and Action Plan, launched in 2019. This document outlines the challenges facing the crafts sector and the possible solutions through a six-point action plan. Its aim is to guarantee the importance of crafts to our shared European society, heritage, culture and economy is recognised and promoted, that the human at the centre of crafts is celebrated, and that the necessary legislation, sustainable development and training is implemented to enable the evolution of craft. Signing the manifesto gives you the opportunity to help to safeguard craftmanship for future generations.
